For those not yet familiar with the start of your bike packing adventure this week:
The start is a mass start at 10 am at the Church of the Good Shepherd (pictured) on the shores of Lake Tekapo. There will be a neutral section to get us safely out of the Lake Tekapo township and across State Highway 8 and onto the trail.
